Letting go is merely the ability to see the future not stay with the past.
Letting go makes life move smoothly because your not worrying about what
happened in the past.

I think sometimes you don't have to let go, sometimes you can just put it to
the side and think about it later when you have more knowledge about it. That
way it doesn't stress you and you can eventually fix the problem. So
sometimes you just need time to find the answer.

I'm an adult and it still gave me something to think about. Deep down I'd like to do ton of things I love doing, but sometimes I have to do the dishes.

I agree. Sometimes it get too hard to say what you really want to say, out loud.
Say if you're really angry at someone, and want to complain, but don't know who to talk to.
A journals great to write in then.
But sometimes if i leave it too long in between entries, i feel the need to write, as if i have to.
So i deliberately don't, i don't know why though.
it sort of takes away some of the point in writing in a journal when i have to write what i've missed out on.
I enjoy writing and re-reading the entries but i can't write every day.
I'd probably run out of things to say.

Chatspeak is shoving primitive words into our mouths. Instead of adding an intelligent comment to a joke, people now say "LOL." Instead of apologizing when we offend someone, we simply toss a "JK, JK!" over our shoulders. I've seen a half dozen of my friends get into spats because of something said over IM that offended one person but was harmless to another. I agree with Jen: "we use telephones and computers to hide behind while being rude," even in our face-to-face conversations. This is a HUGE problem in our society, and I'm glad that the kids on Galahad have made it past that.

I want to refer to Madeleine L'Engle in this response. In "A Wrinkle in Time," Mrs Whatsit compares life to a sonnet: There is a set number of lines, a certain number of syllables in each line, and a strict rhyme scheme. (Otherwise it wouldn't be a sonnet, it would be free verse.) However, the subject matter of the poem and the actual words in each line have to meet no requirements. The author is free to choose how to fill the poem, even though it is a certain type of poem and will always end, if you will, in a rhyming couplet.

Blurting has gotten me in a lot of trouble, so I really prefer journaling much of the time. There are occasions when you need the opinion of another human being, but even in those cases I think you find yourself trying to sound out your words in your head ("How will it sound if I say THIS?"). I think that's really like writing things down.
