A Tiny Black Hole?

blackholeI get questions all the time about what the crew from Galahad might encounter during their voyage, and many of you have wondered if black holes might show up.

So, when teacher Jen Byrne sent this story of the smallest black hole discovered so far, I had to share. It’s only about 15 miles across, and yet has the mass of almost 4 of our suns! What would happen if Triana and the crew stumbled across this thing??Click here to read all about it!

  1. Manuel Heredia says:

If Tre and the crew were to run in to the black whole I think they would find
away to go around or bon will make contact with the casnia and they might help
then go through over under around the black hole.

This is about things they would run into in space. So far they have run into
the Cassini, which is a specie more advanced than the human race. My question
is why do humans always run into a specie that is more superior to us. I have
not read a book or seen a movie that has an alien dumber than us.

(NOTE FROM DOM: This is an interesting thought, Stephen. My best answer would
be this: We are a very young species, and just now learning how to navigate
through space. Any species that has mastered the skills necessary for space
travel would likely not be less evolved than us, but rather more evolved. It’s
not an easy thing to do! But thanks for your question!)
